Paul Kalkbrenner’s career has taken him from underground star to globally renowned techno pioneer. He has helped shape the genre's sound through his avant-guard productions and always unique live performances. He has released over 130 tracks including eight albums, had more than 10 chart-topping singles, sold millions of records, and held the German singles record for 121 weeks at #1 with his epic "Sky & Sand" single. His demanding compositions are full of energy: they take listeners away from the everyday into rapture – into art, ecstasy, absurdity friendship, hope, and love.
