AWEN makes music that feels like both a ritual and a rave – a bridge between ancestry and the future. Born to Senegalese parents and raised between cultures, the Paris-based vocalist/producer/DJ broke through with “Your Voice” (with Caiiro), boosted globally by Adam Port’s remix, and has since become one of electronic music’s most distinctive new storytellers. Her sound moves fluently between afro house, melodic house, indie dance and house, always anchored by her powerful voice and uplifting intention. You’ll hear that range across collaborations and remixes for artists like WhoMadeWho, Jan Blomqvist, Rodriguez Jr., plus standouts like her remix of Sia & Labrinth’s “Incredible” and “The Answer” with Kitty Amor. Live, AWEN’s shows blend DJing with live vocals, designed to feel immersive, emotional, and deeply connected – with her vision evolving toward an even fuller live experience. Now, with her own label Kanté, she’s building a home for total creative freedom (and releases like “Hustler” with Daniel Rateuke).
